Adam & Monica, Engagement Photos in and around London
Oh, Baxter, you are my little gentleman. I’ll take you to foggy London town ’cause you are my little gentleman.
That’s the first thing that comes into my head when the word “London” is mentioned (no judging). So imagine my happiness when I got a call from a lovely California girl named Monica who was getting married to an amazing guy named Adam in Foggy London Town! The happiness was large.
Living in South Florida means that many people have destination weddings here on the beaches, but it’s not quite as often that destination wedding means that I get to cross the pond into the magical city that is London.
Have you been to London? Do words like Fortnum and Mason, Trafalgar Square and Bath make you tingle inside? Do you secretly wish you had a British accent and got to ride the Tube home from work? I do. I do a lot. I may have gotten made fun of for eating fish and chips over and over again, but you know what? I don’t care. It may be peasant food to you lucky folks in the UK but around here, it’s fancy. So is HP Sauce. And treacle pudding. And that spotted dessert that I can’t mention because it sounds like a very dirty euphemism in America- you know what I mean.
On to the photos!
Oh Hello. Don’t mind us, we’re just taking a stroll.
Oh, that little thing behind us? That’s just Tower Bridge. You know, leads you into the Tower of London. No big deal.
Can I point out that everyone in London walks around so well-dressed that Adam and Monica didn’t look out of place wearing this down the street? Makes me a little embarrassed about those midnight ice cream runs in my PJs. Not that I do that. Because I don’t.
Can’t wait to share the photos of the wedding. When you take good-looking, kind people who truly were made for each other and you throw in buildings that were around before our country was in existence, good things are sure to follow.
